Muslim Heritage Month Storytime In-Person
Children ages 3 and up, accompanied by an adult, are welcome to come to a storytime followed by a craft in honor of Muslim Heritage Month. Who are Muslims? Children will learn the basic identity of a Muslim in respect to the five pillars of Islam. In order they are: 1. Declaration of Faith (Shahadah); 2. Prayer (Salah); 3. Alms (Zakat); 4. Fasting (Sawm); 5. Pilgrimage (Hajj). The program will be presented by the Muslim Heritage Month Coalition.
