Rule of Three Reading Group: Gossip In-Person
Named for the "rule of three" principle in writing and joke-telling, this reading group considers three pieces each month: a short story, a poem, and an essay, all connected by a theme. Join us to be introduced to new authors, new forms, and new ideas. This month's theme is "Gossip." The story is “Wakefield” by Nathaniel Hawthorne; the essay, “On the Subversive Power of Gossip” by Maria Tatar; and the poem, “Ode to Gossips” by Safia Elhillo. Sign up with your email to receive the readings digitally. You can also pick up printed copies at the West Windsor reference desk. Registration is recommended.
