Paint like Jean Michel Basquiat In-Person
From 1978-1988, the artist, Basquiat, went from writing enigmatic graffiti all over Manhattan, to developing his signature style as a painter, to befriending artists like Andy Warhol, and exhibiting his work internationally. He came of age in NYC, and became world famous by his early 20s. Did you know he painted with the TV on? Play with the visual vocabulary of an American icon and watch Basquiat clips in the background as we work. For ages 12-18. Sponsored by the Friends of the West Windsor Library.
Registration is required. Walk-ins are welcome as long as space is available. Please cancel if unable to attend so that your spot may be given to another.
Registrations open at 3:45 PM Friday, February 14, 2025
