Rule of Three Reading Group: Money In-Person
Named for the "rule of three" principle in writing and joke-telling, this reading group considers three pieces each month: a short story, a poem, and an essay, all connected by a theme. Join us to be introduced to new authors, new forms, and new ideas. This month's theme is "Money." The story is “The Standard of Living” by Dorothy Parker; the essay, “To Have Is To Owe” by David Graeber; and the poem, “C. '81” by Alice Notley. Download a pdf of the readings here.
