School-age STEAM: Space Shuttle Project & Mae Jemison In-Person
School-aged children aged 5 to 10 (grades K-5) are welcome for a STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math) program in which they will learn about Mae Jemison the first Black female astronaut to travel to space. Kids will be challenged to engineer their space shuttles with a plastic bottle and simple supplies.
