Drop-in Upcycle Challenge: Color Your World! In-Person
Pick from a variety of recycled materials (cardboard, fabric, plastic, paper, etc.) to complete the challenge of the month.
The theme for July and August is “color your world,” to go with our summer reading theme. Use the materials on our cart to create a picture, sculpture, or map of your home—whatever that means to you. Is it your house, your neighborhood—even your planet? No need to make it the way it looks now—make it as colorful and beautiful as you dream it could be! Come just once to create a single project, or return again and again to color the many different parts that make up your world.
For children and teens of all ages, with an adult to supervise.
Sponsored by the Friends of the Lawrence Library.
