Reader's Theater: The Big Orange Splot

Reader's Theater: The Big Orange Splot In-Person

Come listen to the classic picture book The Big Orange Splot by Daniel Manus Pinkwater.   This is the story of a neighborhood where all the houses start out the same.  But one by one, the people transform their houses to express their individuality.   After listening to the story, we will decorate our own cardboard box houses to “look like all our dreams.”   Then, we will use these houses as a set to act out the story together.  Recommended for children ages 3-12, with a caregiver to supervise.

Sponsored by the Friends of the Lawrence Library.

Registration is required prior to the event. Please complete one registration form per child.  If you register and cannot make it, please phone so someone else can have your slot.
