Rule of Three Reading Group: Immigrant Lives

Rule of Three Reading Group: Immigrant Lives In-Person

Named for the "rule of three" principle in writing and joke-telling, this reading group considers three pieces each month: a short story, a poem, and an essay, all connected by a theme. Join us to be introduced to new authors, new forms, and new ideas. This month's theme is "Immigrant Lives." The story is “This Blessed House” by Jhumpa Lahiri; the essay, “Names/Nombres” by Julia Alvarez; and the poem, “He, Too” by Solmaz  Sharif. Download a pdf of the readings here. You can also pick up printed copies at the West Windsor reference desk. Registration is recommended.
