Get Lit Book Club: The Hymn to Dionysus by Natasha Pulley In-Person
Explore the world of Greek mythology in this adaptation of the story of Dionysus. Follow Phaidros, a Greek soldier, as his life evolves and continues to intersect with Dionysus- a blonde haired, blue eyed witch whose very presence seems to stir unrest and rumor. From rescuing the baby from a fire only to be ordered to abandon him at a temple to encountering him years later as he and his fellow soldiers struggle to deal with their trauma, Phaidros's intersection with the young god will alter the course of his life forever. Library staff member Emily will lead the discussion. Suggested age range for this book club: 18-29.
