Rule of Three Reading Group: Aging In-Person
Named for the "rule of three" principle in writing and joke-telling, this reading group considers three pieces each month: a short story, a poem, and an essay, all connected by a theme. Join us to be introduced to new authors, new forms, and new ideas. This month's theme is "Aging." The story is “The Road from Colonus” by E. M. Forster; the essay, “Beware the Man Whose Handwriting Sways Like a Reed In the Wind” by Anne Carson; and the poem, “I Dare You” by Dorianne Laux. Download a pdf of the readings here. You can also pick up printed copies at the West Windsor reference desk. Registration is recommended.
