Monarch Butterfly Release

Monarch Butterfly Release In-Person

The Monarch tagging day is finally here! Join us for a special monarch butterfly release event. We'll be tagging butterflies to help scientists study their migration patterns as they begin their incredible journey to Mexico. These beautiful creatures started as tiny eggs in our butterfly garden, and now they’re ready to spread their wings. Come learn fascinating butterfly facts and discover how you can help protect them. The tour begins between the Reference and Youth desks and ends in our butterfly garden outside the library.
Advanced registration is appreciated.
