Start off the Halloween season with this haunting retelling of classic vampire tale Carmilla. Lenore and her husband Henry face the struggles of a deteriorating marriage, a move to the countryside, his ambitions, and her secrets. But just as they're trying to move forward, Carmilla enters their lives, and Lenore is going to have to choose between her husband and the vibrant stranger amidst the secrets and darkness all around. Library staff member Emily will lead the discussion. Suggested age range for this book club: 18-29.
