Get Lit: Cahokia Jazz by Francis Spufford In-Person

The perfect read to celebrate Native American Heritage Month, Cahokia Jazz takes place in an alternate version of America. Set in a city on the Mississippi river owned and run by Native Americans, Cahokia is a haven from the segregation and hatred of the Klan in the 1920's. At least until a body is found on the roof of a skyscraper, and what follows threatens to upend the city, spilling all its secrets along the way. Library staff member Emily will lead the discussion. Suggested age range for this book club: 18-29.
