Burlap Embroidery In-Person

Come try out some simple stitches and create an embroidered wall hanging framed in a wooden hoop.   Burlap is a great material for even young children to explore the world of embroidery, because the big holes allow you to sew with a blunt needle that won’t poke you.  Older children and teens might enjoy using the burlap’s even grid to count squares and create geometric patterns.  For children and teens ages 4+.

Sponsored by the Friends of the Lawrence Library.

Registration is required prior to the event. Please complete one registration form per child.  If you register and cannot make it, please phone so someone else can have your slot.
