Feed the Birds! (Make Suet Treats) In-Person
Help our feathered friends! In the winter months, insect-eating birds can struggle to find enough food to eat. You can help the birds by making healthy treats for them from suet, birdseed, and peanut butter. We will measure and mix the ingredients, then roll out the dough and use cookie cutters to cut out the bird treats that you can hang in the bushes or trees outside your house. For ages 6-11. Sponsored by the Friends of the West Windsor Library.
Registration is required for this event. Walk-ins are welcome as long as space and supplies are available. We recommend that you arrive 5 minutes before the program starts. If you have not arrived by the start of the program, we may give your spot to someone who is waiting. Please cancel if you are unable to attend so that your spot may be given to another. We appreciate your cooperation so we may offer a smoother flow of activities to the entire group.
