Forrest Gump (1994) Starring Tom Hanks, Robin Wright, Gary Sinise, Mykelti Williamson, and Sally Field. Rated PG-13, 141 minutes. Six Oscars, including Best Picture and Actor (Tom Hanks), went to this extraordinary tale of a simple man who unwittingly becomes involved in some of the key moments of the 20th century. Meanwhile, as the remarkable parade of his life goes by, Forrest never forgets Jenny, the girl he loved as a boy, who makes her own journey through the turbulence of the 1960s and '70s that is far more troubled than the path Forrest happens upon.
