About the Speaker: Holland is a calligrapher of both Arabic and Latin scripts. In 2013, she received her ijaza (diploma) in two Arabic scripts from master calligrapher Mohamed Zakariya. She teaches for the New York Society of Scribes and at colleges, art centers, and museums including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the American Museum of Natural History, and the Smithsonian Institution. Her work has been exhibited internationally and across North America.
