Explores the events leading to the 1978 mass suicide in Jonestown, led by Jim Jones. The author follows Jones’ childhood, how he founded the idealistic People’s Temple, and how he turned the People’s Temple into one of the most notorious cults in history. Librarian Shanna will be leading the discussion.
