Big STEAMers: Bubbly Science & Frozen Magic! In-Person

Join our exciting, 1-hour program for kids ages 6–11!  Big STEAMers is a program that focuses on the five areas of STEAM; science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics, all geared toward elementary-aged kids.  Get ready to experiment, explore, and make some surprising discoveries at the Mercer County Library’s West Windsor Branch.  This week's topic: Ocean Explorers!

Young scientists ages 6-11 will explore the super-cool world of dry ice and the science behind bubbles in this hands-on STEAM adventure. Kids will investigate how solids turn into gas, watch fog spill and swirl, and experiment with bubbles that grow, float, and even dance on icy vapor.  Sponsored by the Friends of the West Windsor Library.

Registration is required prior to the event. Walk-ins are welcome as long as space and supplies are available. We recommend that you arrive 5 minutes before the program starts. If you have not arrived by the start of the program, we may give your spot to someone who is waiting. We may not be able to accommodate late arrivals. Please cancel if you are unable to attend so that your spot may be given to another.  We appreciate your cooperation so we may offer a smoother flow of activities to the entire group.
