Interactive Author/Illustrator Visit with Timothy Young In-Person

Learn how to create a picture book from well-published author/illustrator Timothy Young!  In this interactive visit, Mr. Young will do a Q&A with participants about creativity, reading, writing, drawing, creative careers, and other topics of shared interest.  Following the Q&A, he’ll hold an interactive and fun drawing lesson and create a character based on audience input.

Mr. Young has authored/illustrated 16 published books (including Do Not Open the Box! and The Angry Little Puffin), as well as designed toys, sculpted, made puppets, worked as a graphic designer, built animation models for big-name TV shows like the Muppets, and more!  His varied background, 30+ years of experience, and love of interacting with young people will make this a special experience.  For ages 6-12, youngest with a caregiver.  Sponsored by the Friends of the West Windsor Library.

Registration is required.  Walk-ins are welcome, space-permitting.  We recommend that you arrive 5 minutes before the program starts.  We appreciate your cooperation so we may offer a smoother flow of activities to the entire group.
