In this interactive presentation, historical fiction author Kady Ambrose discusses the fascinating behind-the-scenes drama within the Suffrage movement just before the ratification of the 19th Amendment in 1920. Discover the big personalities, bitter rifts, and strange bedfellows behind the struggle for women’s right to vote. Ambrose is the author of the award-winning historical fantasy novel All That Shimmers, a produced screenwriter, and a playwright. Raised in Moorestown, NJ—home of famous suffragist Alice Paul—she recently returned to the Garden State for family and great tomato pie.
