They Might Be Giants Dance Party In-Person
ou may know the band They Might be Giants from popular hits like “Istanbul (Not Constantinople)” and “Birdhouse in Your Soul.” But did you know they also make really fun educational music for children? To celebrate the end of our “Unearth a Story” summer reading program, we’ll have a dance party to their album Here Comes Science, which has catchy, informative tunes on scientific topics ranging from paleontology to outer space. In addition to dancing, we’ll enjoy some related STEAM activities (such as prism exploration and fossil sorting) and a book display. For kids of all ages, with an adult to supervise.
