Get Lit Book Club: Bochica by Carolina Florez-Cerchiaro In-Person
Celebrate Latin American Heritage month early with a haunted house story set in Soacha, Columbia in the 1920's. Three years after a tragedy that took her mother's life, and the fallout that nearly took her own, Antonia returns to the estate where it all happened. La Casona, now a luxury hotel, holds the key to Antonia's memories as well as a darkness that has consumed more than just her own family. In the true gothic thriller tradition, Antonia will have to confront not only the dark history of the house, but herself as well if she has any chance of making it back out of the shadowy halls of La Casona. Library staff member Emily will lead the discussion. Suggested age range for this book club: 18-29.
