SUMMARY:Mystery of AI
DESCRIPTION:Participate in a fun\, hands-on workshop inspired by Tech
Explorers and the Mystery of AI Bias\, a middle-grade book about kids
tackling real-world issues in artificial intelligence. Students ages 8-12
will explore how AI can be biased and will work together on creative
solutions through games\, coding challenges\, and mini-projects. Young
learners will be empowered to become ethical\, thoughtful tech
creators.\n\nThere will be four sessions in June\, each on a different
 aspect of AI. Dates are: 6/5\, 6/12\, 6/21\, and 6/28. \n\nPlease bring a
laptop\, if possible\, though some will be available to use for the
class.\n\nRegistration is required for this event. Please register for
each session individually. It is not required that you attend all four
sessions\; each is designed as a stand-alone lesson. Walk-ins are welcome
as long as space and supplies are available. We recommend that you arrive 5
minutes before the program starts. If you have not arrived by the start of
the program\, we may give your spot to someone who is waiting. Please
cancel if you are unable to attend so that your spot may be given to
another. We appreciate your cooperation so we may offer a smoother flow of
 activities to the entire group.
