Rule of Three Reading Group: Birds In-Person
Named for the "rule of three" principle in writing and joke-telling, this reading group considers three pieces each month: a short story, a poem, and an essay, all connected by a theme. Join us to be introduced to new authors, new forms, and new ideas. This month's theme is "Birds." The story is “The Great Silence” by Ted Chiang; the essay, “Nests” by Helen Macdonald; and the poem, “Walking Like a Robin” by Bernadette Mayer. Download a pdf of the readings here. You can also pick up printed copies at the West Windsor reference desk. Registration is recommended.
